Inspiration in Most Unique Places!

I must say, we can find inspiration in the most unusual places!  How about a bathroom!

I teach piano every Tues. and Wed. at a small classical school.  For most of the year last year, when I needed to find "relief",  I made my way to the little girls room shared by all the big and little girls in the school.  Well,  near the end of the school year  I was let in on a little secret.  There was another bathroom  just for teachers and parents in another part of the school.  At first I thought, "Well, it's no big deal. I don't need a special bathroom."  But I finally did try it out one day when the other bathroom was quite crowded with sweaty girls just returning from P.E. Now I'm hooked! What a pleasant oasis! It isn't the cleanliness and the cute decor´, though that certainly does add to the experience.  It isn't just the fact that it's a private room, though I do like that.  It isn't even the nice smelling potpori, though that does enhance the experience.  Every time I enter, I can't wait to see what the thought for the day is!  I'm ashamed to say, but at first I didn't even bother to read it.  Although it was sitting up  on a little shelf  of it's own, just under the mirror, a little to the side so as not to be in the way, I was in a rush and didn't take the time to read it.  But one day I paused to read what it said, assuming it was probably going to be some bit a fluff with no substance.  Boy was I wrong!  What inspiration! What comfort! What encouragement ! I read quotes from such godly people as Elizabeth ElliottJoni Ericson Tada,  Hannah HurnardOswald Chambers, and A.W. Towzer.  I'm talking about the little flip book of thoughts for the day that has been stategically placed so it will catch your eye while you wash your hands. Here is an example:
"God's hands are more skilled than a great surgeon;
They are more tender than a caring nurse:
They are more precise than a fine diamond cutter:
They are more creative than the finest artist or designer."
                           ≈ Roy Lessin

I have been so blessed and encouraged to worship the Lord and meditate on Him that I decided to order one for my desk!  I went to DaySpring Cards Inc and found a huge selection!  Now I can be inspired in more unique places and not just the private women's restroom at Westminster Academy!
